When the conditions are right, you can often see the Northern Lights from the garden at Thornhall Chalet Retreat.
Even when there's no solar flare activity to liven up the night sky, there's still plenty to see on a clear night. All you need to do is sit back, look up and let your eyes become accustomed to the dark.
It can be quite breathtaking.
